On March 26, 2021, elected officials, community members, and other dignitaries kicked off construction of GrowNYC's NY State Regional Food Hub. The Hub will support over 100 farmers by connecting them to NYC.
The Hub at Halleck and Veale Streets will be a 65,000 square-foot cold-storage facility designed to expand wholesale access to New York State-grown quality food. More at https://www.grownyc.org/hub-temp
